Hello!

I'm Erika Montantes, a Mexican UX/UI designer based in the Bay Area. I'm a self-taught UX/UI designer, I've spent the past three years diving deep into the world of UX/UI design through online courses and a nano-degree (and currently coursing the UX/UI Design Bootcamp at Springboard). This journey equipped me with the skills to tackle user research, experiment with various ideation techniques, and design everything from hand-drawn sketches to digital wireframes, mockups, and prototypes.

My experience before UX/UI

I have a degree in Communication but a background in Graphic Design. I spent 3 years working with brands building their brand identity, visual designs and social media management, but now I’m ready to move to the UX/UI Design world.

In my experience, I believe the best way to deliver great products is by listening to the users, understanding their needs, and designing with them in mind. I'm not just designing interfaces; I'm creating visually stunning, and user-friendly experiences.

My hobbies

Besides designing, I like to do acrylic paint, photography (being more specific: wild photography). I also love to spend time with my dog, hike, watch movies and rewatch my favorite series The Office and Friends.
